Delivery Charges and Timelines
We offer a Free* Next Working Day Delivery service for all our bird seed. For all telephone and internet orders received before 1pm, Monday to Thursday, those products will be dispatched the same day for Next Day Delivery, during the hours of 8am and 6pm. Orders received before 1pm on a Friday will be dispatched the same day for Monday delivery. For orders received later than 1pm, we will always try our best to dispatch them the same day, but we cannot guarantee this and they would then leave us the following day, for delivery the day after. We regret that standard deliveries cannot be made at the weekend or on Bank Holidays.
When ordering bird seed direct from our farm, (this relates to all seed mixes, peanuts, sunflower seeds, niger seed etc) all accompanying purchases also have Free Delivery. This means that you can purchase accompanying fatballs, feeders, suet pellets, dried mealworms (in fact, anything else!) – all with no extra charge.
Live Foods, such as live mealworms, mini mealworms and waxworms are also delivered Free by First Class Royal Mail. They will arrive separately to other ordered items.
If you would prefer to purchase non-food items on their own, without accompanying seed/peanuts/niger etc, these will also be dispatched for Next Working Day Delivery but a charge of £4.85 to cover P&P will automatically be added when you checkout.

For customers living in Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, we unfortunately have to make a charge for delivery. Details can be found in the table below

Tracking your Delivery
We have a ‘no signature’ contract with our courier, so you don’t have to be in to receive your goods. Please just let us know where to leave your goods – ideally somewhere safe and dry. We can also deliver to a different UK address (e.g. your place of work) at no extra cost to you.
When your goods are picked up from our farm and scanned in at our local depot, an email will be generated to let you know your goods are now in transit. That email will advise you that you should expect to receive your goods the next day. If your goods do not arrive as expected, you can log on to the Netdespatch site, quoting your consignment number to find out where your goods are. You can also ‘phone the office at the farm on 01489 896785 and we will investigate on your behalf.
Delivery Feedback
We have an excellent relationship with our courier company (APC) and entrust them with the safe delivery of your goods. We expect your goods to arrive undamaged and for them to be left in the location you have requested. We also hope the drivers will be courteous and the goods will be delivered on the day stated. If the delivery of your goods falls short of your expectations in any way, we would be very grateful if you would let us know so that we can actively manage the situation to a positive outcome. Equally – if you are pleased with our service – we would also like to know that too!
